Again the ghouls, ghosts, gremlins and ghoblins appear on Our doorsteps.
It’s Halloween.
Costume Shops have been busy.
Candy sales are making merchants happy.

For the sake of the tykes, toddlers and other children out
‘trick-or-treating’ - a few simple safety and security precautions
are suggested.
-) Be careful where You go. Stay in Your own neighborhood if possible.
-) Use reflective costumes - if possible.
-) Carry and use a good, bright, long-lasting flashliight if You go out before dark.
-) If possible do not wait until dark when it is harder to see and be seen.
-) Wait until You get home to eat anything handed out. As the the Adult in the
Family and Household - it is up to You to safeguard the children on this night.
One thing You can do is to hold all the treats handed out.
Do not let any of the children eat anything till You are back home.
Once home - carefully inspect everything You have received.
If You have any questions or doubts about anything - do not let the children eat it
or play with it. Take it to either a Fire Station or a Hospital so It can be examined
or X-rayed if necessary.

It is not just Your Children You need to protect.
Keep Your Dogs and Cats inside if at all possible.
This has long been a night of unspeakable cruelty to Dogs and Cats -
especially black cats.
Keep them inside and safgely away from the neighborhood marauders.

This is not just Halloween.
This is also Samhain.
On this night the veil between the realms and realities thins and parts.
That ghost You thought You heard -
You thought You saw -
perhaps You did See and Hear -
Something or Someone.
Or It may have just have been Granpa’ Ned stoppin’ by for a visit?

This is also the day in 1517 that Martin Luther nailed His ninety-five (95)
theses to the Wittenburg Castle Church’s door - sparking the Protestant Reformaion.
For the ‘Church’ it is ‘All Saints Day’ on Woden’s Day - November 1st.
On Thor’s Day - November 2nd - it is “All Soul’s Day’.

I could just step outside My front door -

Who are the two newbies? Why not post and introduce yourselves? That would be wonderful :)

Anyway, back home (obviously) and getting back to the daily grind. Although it has changed nearly 100%, it is still part of life.

Sacramento....What can I say about going back home? Only a year and things have changed. Places, things and people all slightly different. Which is normal. I felt so very out of place it was as I did not actually ever live there. Weird really.
Had some great fun at times with friends. Of course while there Lord Snowtiger and I did our joint readings and remotes. I have always enjoyed what his cards have had to say. Percentage rate of correctness is amazing.  :) Felt good to be back acting like a beginner magician. Although when I mentioned this to my mentor he just sighed. haha Maybe he thought that I would remain silly and not focused. HA no chance

The entire trip was forseen as a Karmic Cleansing. I had a few really strange events that were  positive KC. A couple of my visions were dead on (Normal) but with slight twists that had not been seen. Makes it interesting.

Do I feel better? Yes and no. Spirtitually I had many things happen which has lead me to new thoughts and feelings. Emotionally it has lead me to re-confirm that the basic nature of people is based upon self centered, un-balanced, malicious and other terms that I do not wish to print. haha Yes, some that were around were terrible during this situation.

I am just glad that I am home where I belong.

Blessings & Greetings.

I am the Paganus.
I am here.
I am resting, recovering & rebuilding.
I am putting My 'life' - such as it is -
back together at the Household.
I am putting together some new entries for the Spirit Garden
and I have a new "Goddess Letter" ready to be keyboarded
and posted.
Perhaps tomorrow I can get some of that work done.

All else is geting back into the more 'normal' 'routine'.
Even Family is getting back into the 'routine'.
I had days of Family peace and quiet.
I'm home again now.
No more peace and quiet from Family.
I'm looking for 'work'.
I just did ten (10) days straight.
"But that's only ten days!"
"You need to get out there and really hustle!"
"You are not trying hard enough."
Yeah.
I'm getting the same 'ol attitude from Family.
Old news.
Something's never change.

At least there are no disasters or crisises here on MysticWitch.
Here all is still calm and quiet.
Activity and audio quiet.
Just the way I like it.

I am Free, Clear and Out-of-There!

Must have mis-read My work shedule.
Thought I was supposed to still be there today.
I'm not there today - or any other day anymore.
Me Long since long gone from there!

How's about a bit of metaphysical learning?
Or perhaps it's more metaphysical pondering?
Did that much of that last night.
Been doing much of that all during this Fair.
I think I might know what My 'animal totem's' are.
First You have the bunny.
Yes.
A dusty, brown white cotton-tail rabbit.
A rabbit.
For the Paganus?
Yeah.
Quite possibly.
Here's why.

I see them at the Rennaissance Festival site.
They are everywhere and into everything.
I saw them at the So. Cal. Fair site.
I was talking to the Goddess(s) all through this Fair.
I was having some 'management issues' with a 'team leader'.
He managed to pinch His sciatic nerve.
He really looked ill last night.
Must be really starting to lunch Him up.
I was processing out last night and He was in the Office/Trailer.
I knew that I was not to take pleasure in His injury and discomfort.
So I didn't.
So I was working My 'gates'.
I was talking to the Goddess.
I used the term- 'quick as a bunny'.
A moment later - one hopped into view for only a moment.
Been doing that all through this Fair.
I ask Goddess(s) something - and I get an answer.
A rabbit pops into view.

OK.
There is also a second possibility for My 'totem animal'.
A cat.
I rescued a tiny, tiny black and white kitt last night.
She was full of wiggle and zoom.
I had to stuff 'her' into a cardboard box and
get 'her' to the Medics.
They ran 'her' down to the Livestock people.
She was only 5 to 7 weeks old.
Bright eyes, vocal and full of energy.
She was wiggling so much!
She's going to be somebody's prize kitty.

So -
Is it a rabbit or is it a cat?
Or - since this Paganus does things the hard & weird way - both?
Personally - I vote for both.



There are lessons I have to learn from this Fair.
There are things I have experienced that are going to be Lessons.
I just do not yet know that they are Lessons.

Yes.
The hours were long.
My feet were blistered out - they did heal.
I still smell finely ground dust.
I still hear 'Carnivale' rides and girl's screams.
It's going to take a few days to get 'Fair' out of My system.
!Shiver-Shiver - Shake-Shake.!
It's also going to take a few weeks to get My paycheck.
I can go get it on the 31st.
Or I can have it mailed.
I vote for having it mailed.
Provided it does not get lost in the mail.
Somehow this having to wait to get paid does not feel right with Me.
Makes Me wonder if they are making sure they can even afford to pay us!
Yeah.
I'm nasty and suspicious.
You would not be too far off the mark to call Me mildly paranoid.
Something just does not feel right.
Perhaps it's another Lesson I am to be learning?
That would so not be a surprise!

Yes.
I spent many, many hours with the Goddess(s).
That much of this experience is positive.
Very, very positive.
She does listen.
She is a Companion.
She is a Guide, Guardian and Muse.
She walks with those that walk with Her.
I just wish I knew which Goddess it was I was with?
I still like My concept of the 'Duty Shift Goddess'.
That way I need not know which one it is.
Somebody has the 'Duty Shift' and I am covered.
I may not need to know which Goddess it is -
but it would be nice.
I do think that I had some assistance with the little kitt.
I think I felt Bast during those moments.
Have to look up rabbits and bunnies.
See who has them.
Bast has Cats.
Who has Bunnies?
That's a good 'research it and learn it' project for this Paganus.
Provided I can remember to do it!

I am coming back to My slightly more routine and 'normal' schedule.

I am still here.
Your Paganus is still very much still here.
This 'cyber-cafe' has not been open by 12:30
for the past two (2) days -
and I needed to be off to work.
Not that there was much I needed to do once I got there.
Never is.

This is the Last Day!
Last Day of So Cal Fair for 2006!
I have Mondae for pick-up. clean-up, pack-up
and move-out.
Today We Have "Demo Derby" in the Main Arena.
Yeah.
Hope the Medics are ready for this.
We had four or five dirt bikers wipe out yesterday.
Today should really keep the Medics busy.

I - however - should not have much to do at all.
I'll most likely just sit My activity-quiet "Carnivale" gate till
around 20:00/8:00 P and then move over to "Little A"
gate for the rest of the work shift.
Check tickets, wristbands and generally stay out of the way.

I am not certain -
but I do have this nagging suspicion -
that there are some 'energy and spirit vampyes' hanging around there.
I am fairly certain about a certain 'team leader'.
He gave Me some heavy handed attitude and hard-core grief a few days ago.
So last night He was walking really slowly and carefully past Me at My gate.
He had pinched His sciatic nerve. Bad kharma. It can and will come back & bite you.
It chewed on Him really good.
I had the thought to not take pleasure in that because that might come back and bite Me in turn.
So I grinned for a moment -
had the passing thought that
You don't mess with the Paganus -
and went back to work.

The Evengelicals are still out on force.
Perhaps some of the 'energy vamping' is coming from them?
Perhaps not deliberately and intentionally - but yeah.
It's just remotely possible.

We also have 'El Toro Huaco' today.
Not sure what they are going to be doing today.
They are loads more interesting than a dumb-arse "Demo Derby".
Crashing cars.
I see that in the parking lot daily.
So where is the thrill in that?

Last Day of So Cal Fair for 2006.
Should be - IF nothing else - interesting.

I hope to be back here tomorrow.
IF I am not -
Worry not.
I probably got called in early to deal with pick-up,
clean-up, pack-up and move-out. I heard some
'scuttlebutt' that We might get an extra hour tomorrow.
But since it is just 'scuttlebutt' - it is not reliable or accurate.
But IF I am not here again online till Tuesday -
I am again out in the elements -
working.
I'll most likely be doing something anyway - either way!

I am still here!
This 'cybernetic-cafe' was not open by 12:30 yesterday.
I had to leave from here and go directly to the Fair.
All is good - save for some blistered feet.
I'm walking really slowly and carefully.
Feet really hurt.

Fair is ok.
Aside from the usual and expected incidents -
nothng much is happening for either "Event Staff",
"Security" or even - Blessings Be! - "Medical".
There was the 2 month old with an alergic reaction
and the diabetic - but I was told that those are well
within the expected, normal routine.

Ok.
The other day -
I don't now remember which one -
I made the unwitting and unknowing crack about -
"No Camel Jokes, Please!"
Well -
just to show the Goddess is listening to Me -
and is having a bit of fun with the Paganus -
there is a baby - by now 4/5? day old - baby camel
in the Petting Zoo.
Name is Delilah.
She is adorable.
Very wobbly on Her legs -
but very alert for 4/5? days old.
We also have a baby yak.
Small, black and lots of curly fur.

Been working Lot A since I blistered out.
I sit down a lot out there.
Not much to do till around sundown.
Then We get the vendors coming in and out for the
night crew.
I have some 15 to maybe 16 year olds working "Traffic".
Not sure how much help they are.

OK.
As You can tell -
it's been activity quiet.
It's even a bit more audio quiet out at "A Gate".
Save for those dirt-hill jumpin' BMX Bikers.
They rev theose two & four stroker's up and - Rrrrumble!
One of them took a spill yesterday.
Ambulance came and took Him away.
Almost the most the most excitement of the day yesterday.
Yes - that's how 'activity quiet' it is out where I was yesterday.
Where will the gimpy Paganus be today?
I don't know.
I am just not going to be doing much walking.
That much I do know.

I also had a thought as I was going zen yesterday.
Ought to find out If the Renn. Festival people can get
a booth here.
Advertise Their event(s) in the Spiring here in the late summer early fall.
Also ought to see if We can get a Pagan/Wiccan/Alternative Faiths booth.
The bible-thumpin' evengelical's are as thick as flies.
At least - and this is also very unusual - They are behaving themselves.
As much as they ever do. {As if!}
We also need representation.
Whom do We know that is good at not evalgelizing -
but just crewing a booth and being there for questions
and answers?
Whom could We get - next year??? - for this?
Just more thoughts from the Paganus as I got/will get dusted
in the parking lot!

Yesterday was the first of two appearances
by 'El Toro Huaco' - the 'Mexican Rodeo'.
They'll be back next weekend.
Some gorgeous horses.
Prancers, dancers and high-steppers.
There was also a group of Young Ladies in yellow
dresses riding their mounts.
Tried for a couple of digital cell-phone photos.
Not sure how well they turned out.
Those horses were the stars of the show.
At least out where I was working they were.
Today we have Raven Symone in the Main Arena.
She ought to draw a few teens and their families.
I won't be bothered with any of that.
She's a long way down the Fasirgrounds from me
and my dry and dusty 'Carnivale' gate.
Business was so good yesterday that the
Vendor who has the Beer Concession was really happy.
Sold a lot of beer to the "Rodeo" people.

Noticed something yesterday.
Little girls and big trucks.
This time they were Hispanic girls and big trucks.
Guess girls just like it big.

OK.
Yesterday was quiet.
Activity quiet.
Between the loudspeakers at the 'Rodeo' -
the Mexican 1440 AM radio station -
and the Carnivale rides - it was very noisy.
I hear that there was action for the Medics, Sheriff
and Security in the rest of the Fair -
but next to nothing out where I work.
Which Is just exactly how I like it.

Well -
It's about time to get on the road and get to work.
Find out what kind of trouble I can stay out of for
today!

Sanctus - 10/08/2006

Blessings & Greetings.

I am here for only a short moment.

Yesterday was sunny, dusty and noisy.
Back in my 'backside of nowhere' corner of the
Fair - nothing much of anything was happening.
I heard there were some lost kids, a couple of fights,
a punk kid trying strongarm tactics to get ride bracelets,
and a possible assault on a Security person.
Out at the "Carnivale" gate none of that happens.
You have Vendors, 'Carnies", Exhibitors, BMX Riders/Racers,
Dirt Track Motorsports cars and Medics and Sherrff.
Real quiet activity wise.
Not so quiet audio wise.
Back side of the Carnivale.
Screams from the rides all day long.
BMX races all day long.
That's nothing.
No crowds and weirdness where I am.
Or - Where I was yesterday.
I am scheduled there again today.
Where I actually will be - I do not yet know.

Family is OK.
"Serena-Cat" gave me an earful last night
when I got back in.
"MEE-Row! Where HAVE You been?"

So -
All is good.
So far all is good.
Let's keep it that way.

No activity on the Boards or Blogdrive.
All is quiet online - as of this moment.

I'm out-of-here.
